Innumerabilis

Hmm, inertia exists for all things, including writing stuff, but if I do not shake off this procrastinating phase of mind, I will forget everything that I want to write.

On Saturday (8th May 2004), we went to Alvin’s house. It was supposed to be a class party, but not everyone went. All the prcs were not there, but its great to see that jiahui made it in the end, after some dinner, though she arrived quite late.

The bbq was a small scaled one, with the bbq pit shorter than the length of my keyboard, lol. However, it is nice, for as Belinda and Sherilyn said, it is the barbecuing and not the food that is all the fun. Fishballs, taiwan sausages, pork and chicken wings are the food bbqed, and beef was leftover. Kenny was quite enthusiastic about adding more charcoal periodically.

Besides such stuff, there’s also fried noodles, some salad and punch. Found out that some people can be very sarcastic, haha, wonder if that is the “school attitude”. We were playing mah jong (I’ve just learnt the rudiments of it) when Alvin’s parents came home; the first thing his father said was “no mah jong in this house”. So we hastily kept them, and went up to Alvin’s study room. By this time, most of the people had went home. Laura and Jiahui went home at 12+ (midnight, that is).

Left a few guys, sleeping in Alvin’s study room. Ming Quan and Zhi Kai slept in another non-airconditioned room. Zhi Kai because of his nose, and ming quan? I dunno… (start the scandal!!) I think only donald fell asleep at 1 plus, the rest of us were crowding around Alvin’s comp watching mtv and video and listening to his vast collection of mp3s. The floor wasn’t very comfortable, slept at 4 (only because Alvin basically told us to shut up, lol) and woke up at 6.51 am.

Found out that zheng xian is a nice and approachable guy (although he acts gay, literally). When I first came, his and ken toh’s rather crude remarks sort of puts me off, but they’re really ok. Haven’t talked to matthew properly too, which is quite sad since we’re in same class for almost one year! The whole night talked about KY, which I wouldn’t have known about if I haven’t stayed over. Sometimes you need to get a feel of what’s going on!

The next morning, Alvin and donald gone for walkathon, the rest of us breakfast at BTM before they go back school and I go home. I really, really, really didn’t know the bus stop is so far! C’mon, would I have been that cunning, scheming and machiavellian? (ducks flying tomatoes). Okay, okay, point taken.

Went home, sleeeeeeeeeeep (sleeping on ground is no fun), and went back school. Reached at about 12.30 pm, walk and talk to some people. Snapped pics of leeck getting dunked, haha, and carried tables back. This time got more people help, so the task was finished very fast. Tied three balloons to leeck’s desk, wonder what he did with them.

Overall, very nice class party and ORA day! Especially since today is school holiday, wee!!
