What does QED stand for? Ms Chia said in her lecture it was “quite easily done”, haha, but I didn’t think so. It was not until I read The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time that I realised it was an abbreviated form of “quod erat demonstrandum”, “which is Latin for which is the thing that was going to be proved, which means thus it is proved”.
It is a good book, you can try to read it. I finished it in 80 minutes standing near the entrance of the bookshop (poor Popular didn’t make the $16.80 from me today), and it contains some interesting mathematical puzzles like the Monty Hall Dilemma and Conway’s Soldiers. Very down-to-earth puzzles.
Ok, why was I reading a book (albeit a short one, 224 pages only) when I should be *mugging*? Because the chem prac today was so depressing… And to make it even more frustrating, I met someone who told me in a very confident tone that it was easy and that those who couldn’t do it were idiots. Ok, I felt like an idiot, but most of all I felt like killing him.
Hmm well, we’ll see how it is when the script is returned. Still sort of okay though, since I managed to get most of the QA and other parts correct. I hope.
*crosses fingers*
Wish me luck.

I have changed my site, from http://www.jcra.net/telly to http://www.familyteen.net/telly. Actually that will direct you to http://www.familyteen.net/~telly, which will in turn direct you to http://www.familyteen.net/~telly/webpage. Complicated, eh? Lol!
The emrys.netfirms.com one still stays, but it has lots of irritating pop-up ads. Anyway, the rjc pictures are available at http://www.familyteen.net/~telly/rjc
The only reason why it is not at http://www.familyteen.net/telly/rjc is because it does not allow annonymous ftp, so you wouldn’t be able to see the directory contents.
Well, enjoy. If you are not too confuzzled by this, lol.

Second edition translation by me(telly)
Qi li xiang (Seven mile fragrance — a type of flower)
The sparrow outside is chirping, perched on a power cable
You say that this scene feels very much like spring
The pencil in my hand moves back and fro on the paper
Using a few words to describe who you are to me
The taste of Qiu Dao fish, both the cat and you would like to discover (sorry, can’t find exact english name of the fish)
By doing so, we rediscover the taste of first love
The warm sunshine is just like the taste of freshly picked strawberries
You say that you cannot bear to consume such a feeling
The rain lasts all night, and my love pours out like a deluge
The rain runs off the leaves, and combines with my longings to form a thick stack in my mind
A few negative comments about you cannot cool my warm feelings
You appear on every page of my poems.
The rain lasts all night, and my love pours out like a deluge
The butterfly outside the window looks like a page of a book describing an idyllic scene
I carry on writing, to add “I will always love you” into the ending of the poem.
You are the only one that I wish to understand.
The granary is full to the brim, indicative of this bountiful season
The hue of your face is like a field of ripe tomatoes
You suddenly say to me, that “qi li xiang” has a very beautiful name
But all I am thinking of now is kissing your wilful lips
The original:
