Innumerabilis

A day ago I was being all melancholic about gaining yet another unwanted year, but I was reminded today that there is a small difference. One year hence, I can speak another language, albeit badly; surely that has to count for something.

For dinner Ryan and Samuel treated me to Teppanyaki at Wisma’s Food Republic. They probably found out after I dropped some hints (or maybe a copious amount of hints), but I decided it is time to stop hiding my birthday like it is a blemish on my otherwise phlegmatic life.

I looked back at my post 1 year ago, and nothing much has changed. Except for changing the twenty one to twenty two.

So the earth has circled the sun twenty one times since I was born. Big deal. I don’t feel any smarter than I was five years ago. Stagnation, stagnation. I don’t like getting older, so I shall forget about this.

Had sushi buffet on Friday with Ryan at The Hereen’s Sakae Sushi while waiting for he-who-is-always-late. Nice, shiok, but guilty haha.
