Sunset at Yaki Point

Each “point” on the map along the rim of Grand Canyon is actually an outcrop that projects further into the canyon, thus giving the visitor a better view. I decided to catch the sunset at Yaki point; it was a beautiful, but also very cold and windy, place!

Dormitory Life

When I first came to Grand Canyon Village, the only housing available was Victor Hall, a dormitory style male-only housing. As expected, it was an interesting, if rowdy, place to live. As for my room, it is apt to get a bit untidy when you have three guys squeezed into a room meant for two.
