How do you get Northern Lights in Australia? Well, in Adelaide they project patterns onto old, historical buildings, and because it is done along the stretch of road known as North Terrace, you get Northern Lights in Australia.

From a plain old building to something so vividly coloured.

Calvin and me in front of another building.

Group photo.

Art Gallery of SA transformed into this!

Too bad it’s not on throughout the year.

Today we went to Victor Harbour and Urimbirra Wildlife Park, an activity organised by the University of Adelaide.

A nice view of Victor Harbour from the bus.

From Victor Harbour, there is a walkway to Granite Island. You can either take a horse-drawn tram, or walk. Guess which options we cheapos chose…

Group photo at Victor Harbour.

Granite Island signboard. Is it made of granite?

After Victor Harbour we went to Urimbirra Wildlife Park. I’ve seen kangaroos and wallabies before, but never have I actually touched them till I came to South Australia!

Guinea pigs and rabbits.

Again, I’ve seen koalas in many places, from LA to Singapore to Perth, but this is the first time I actually stroked one.

Skulduggery is… well, I suppose it’s a clubbing session under the guise of the orientation activities. It’s supposedly been around for more than a hundred years (were there nightclubs then?) and this year’s skulduggery was held at HQ.

At the ticket sales. Why a polar bear/yeti/abominable snowman? Qui sait…

Before party drinks.

On our way to the party.

The scene at HQ.

Another Skulduggery scene.
