Adelaide Zoo
There was a bbq by The Village today, after which we went to the Adelaide Zoo. The entrance fee was $18 for a concession ticket, and it wasn’t too bad. I don’t think it’s as good as the Singapore Zoo or the San Diego zoo though. Adelaide zoo does have a pair of pandas that has arrived not long ago, and they are the star attraction at the zoo.

I realised I still haven’t posted an image of what my place looks like, so here it is. The University of Adelaide Village.

The Adelaide Zoo shop.

Holding a stuffed panda, in front of a giant panda print in the panda shop.

Barbary Sheep.

Some toads (I think they are poisonous but I’ve forgotten).

Some cute animal that ate the leaves when we held some out to it.

After hearing so much about the kookaburra, I finally saw one with my own eyes!

A preening pelican.

Wang wang, the male panda.

An otter.

The one and only male lion in the zoo.

At the Sumatran area of the zoo, it says Selamat Datang or welcome in Bahasa.

On our way back, the “mall’s balls” we heard so much about.
